Technical meetings are meant for discussions about nitty-gritty details.

It is a good idea to setup an item to discuss when your work may impact others, in order to discuss design and gather feedback.

Only attend if you think you have a stake in what's being discussed. The goal of this meeting is to validate or correct ongoing works.
