Sector Edit Mode

Table of Contents
Sector edit mode allows editing of sector properties, as well as some other sector-related editing operations.
Additionally, sector edit mode is broken up into 3 different sub-modes, which can be cycled through by pressing the sectors mode keyboard shortcut multiple times, or selecting via the toolbar:
- Sectors (Normal): This is the default sector edit mode. Floor textures are shown on the 2d map view, and keyboard shortcuts will affect both floors and ceilings of sectors (eg. 'Height Up 8' will increase the height of the floor and ceiling by 8)
- Sectors (Floors): Floor textures are shown on the 2d map view, and non-specific keyboard shortcuts will affect only floors of sectors (eg. 'Height Up 8' will increase the height of the floor by 8)
- Sectors (Ceilings): Ceiling textures are shown on the 2d map view, and non-specific keyboard shortcuts will affect only ceilings of sectors (eg. 'Height Up 8' will increase the height of the ceiling by 8)
Right-Click Context Menu
The following additional items will appear on the right-click context menu while in sectors mode:
- Change Texture: If in normal sectors mode, will bring up an overlay to select either floor or ceiling texture to change, otherwise brings up the texture browser to change the floor or ceiling texture.
- Change Special: Brings up the sector special selection dialog.
Latest Release: 3.2.4
